Location
El Valle de Anton, Panama, an extinct volcanic crater in a very lush valley that is 5k (3-miles) long and 2K (1-mile) wide at 1000 meters (3000 feet) above sea level, two hours west of Panama City, 30 minutes north of the Pan-American Highway. Cabanas Potosi is located five minutes west of St. Jose's Catholic Church along the main road of El Valle de Anton. Once you pass the church, guide right, cross a small bridge then guide left. We are on the left after a small curve.

Guests need to check in at the front office, located in the front of the main house.
Check in time is from 3 PM to 9 PM. Sometimes, we permit earlier check-in.
History of Cabanas Potosi:
Cabanas Potosi opened in 1980 under Patria Greco de Bernal, the mother of Mireya Bernal de Wenthold. In 2009, Mireya and her husband, from the United States, retired after 38 years in education in Florida to take over the ownership of the cabins. In January 2018, Cabanas Potosi had their ten thousandth client. Our clients have come from 60 different countries and 45% of clients come from North American, 35% from Europe and 20% from Panama. Cabanas Potosi clients, "Come as strangers and leave as friends." El Valle has many mountain trails, waterfalls, hot/cold springs, gardens for butterflies and orchids, animal zoos and over 300 species of birds.
